Top 10 reasons to watch "How I met Your mother"

1. The Top reason is the shear happiness and ecstasy one is flooded while watching HIMYM,I mean there is comedy which always make you laugh, but this is something beyond mere comedy. Whenever i feel like down,i take a 20 minute what i call "flushing your boredom and sadness Syndrome Class" on my screen. It helps.

2. There are things you might miss in real life and HIMYM tells you the importance of those things. Such small things which make the friendship worth it is meant for. 


3. I could have listed it on the top,but rather decided to wait for it. This is the legendary reason why one should totally watch HIMYM. That is the Barnicle Theory. Oh!!! man, never in real life, one can come across a character like him. Right from his skepticism to Cynicism and his catchphrases and his random derived theories. Everything is equally marvelous and enjoyable. I wonder if the show would have worked if this man hadnt been there.He runs the show.

4. The fourth reason is the lifestyle,these guys live with. Very little part of their workplace and a lot of time is shot at the Bar which makes one feel leisureliness is all in this world.

5. The legendary love-story of Lilypad and Marshmallow is yet another reason. Their story just looks perfect. There are minor differences and those too once in a blue moon. Everybody dreams of such a love story.

6. Now, How can we miss the girls. Yes, The awesome,superhot,lucrative babes, Barney and Ted go on winning are also a reason. There are approximately on an average,two sexy-grapey babes in every episode nailed by Barney and that counts too much as watching a two hour teenage movie too looses the game to HIMYM in this trait.

7. The Bro Code. Now cmmon!!! Had anybody thought of such a code before watching HIMYM ( obviously except Barney ;). I find it hilarious for hanging out Bro's and following certain rules. Totally cool.

8. The Mclarens and the apartment are so plain and lucrative that after a season or two that one starts thinking of it to be a regular place, they have to be at. I mean Mclarens seems like an ideal bar(just below the building), one can easily hangout after work. I have personally always dreamed of living in such a place.

9. You can probably enjoy every American Holiday and festival at HIMYM, never goes a time without any celebration. And you can enjoy them while sticking to your screens

10. Its like the F word dont exist while shooting the HIMYM. I mean,Its like a signia of coolness in shows today on TV to use Fuck this/Fuck that phrases all the time,but clearly this is an exception,and its still wait for it cool.

I thought about this a lot,but what eventually struck my mind was the fact that a viewer is never going to guess How Ted really met his wife!!! ;)
I actually wish that it never be found out as the show would end itself once unraveled the core idea of its creation.Its been a great privilege to write about one of the best soaps ever made on this planet.

Technology and the human factor

The use of spears and stone tools were probably the first step of mankind towards technology and yes, since then, the technology is advancing, expanding and evolving.The tools made way for the second generation of technology-machines, which simply substituted the element of human physical effort.Machines allowed humans to tremendously exceed the limitations of their bodies.The third and final stage of evolution of technology is automation.The automation removes the element of human control with an automatic alogarithm.Computers programs,wrist watches and pacemakers are some readily used automatic devices.It began from a spear and went on to microprocessors and goes on.Starting with simple tools,man has advanced to automation.

But this rapid evolution of technology questions the importance of mankind.Today,In this Industrial society,Man Controls the machines and computer dominated production. What if the future would be computer dominated. Man as a mere slave. Think of a man working as a slave in a society of automated machines, disturbing it sounds. Messe Bloomfield in his book Mankind in Transition speaks of the over-dependence of man upon technology, and its viable effects on the society. Our human society is slowly,through a transitional industrial society becoming a stable automated society. That means technology advancing, Mankind degrading.

Let me make it very clear,I am not against this technology advancement,but all I say is to restrict brain to mankind,Don’t give machines brain.Without any doubt,technology and science have made our lives easier,comfortable and more enjoyable.Science has transformed our lives by fighting against lethal diseases like cholera,Typhoid,tuberculosis. The battle against Cancer is on.But think of the after-effects of nuclear radiations by the numerous machines on the human life and generations to follow.

Now,let me put forward a mere perception of mine and it may sound philosophical. Generations ago, our great great forefathers were way too much happier and self-contained than we are today. There are the same 24 hours in a day,we have ourselves made our lives busy and hectic. Think of the last time you  carved an idol out of clay or counted the stars in a dark night. I don’t think that happened lately. Our ill fate today refuses the gigantic potentials of materialism and spiritualism to work in tandem with each other in a healthy cooperative manner. So coming to the end of this short bloike, I wish mankind to remain ethical and self-contained accompanied with the needed technological boosts. All in all, Let science and technology work for mankind, don’t lead mankind to serve.

The Decade that India defined

The title might have looked absurd but
we are at the gate of the dream project
India 2020 .... So how good was the
decade ... Actually this was the decade
that defined India and - India
defined.. ...To have a picture of it lets
have a quick flashback.. ..
I have compiled last ten years below
High tensions with pakistan amidst
kargil war and then parliament. ... .India
looked aggressive but never
acted ... .leave it to yell. ... Pakistan will
always be a problem for India .. .
India becoming a economical
outsourcing hub for American
companies ... .west came to know
where India lied on map. ...India to be
foreseen as a superpower .. .The world
woke up to the crucial role that India
play as the largest Democracy and a
dynamic economy... ..
And then there was shameful and
uneventful Godhra communal riots
which shook the nation ...nevertheless
we evolved out of those incidents very
remorsed and regretful. ... .we faced
natural calamities like earthquakes, first
in Gujarat and then in northern India
and the tsunami ... ..but we faced it all
with great zeal... .. and there on the
good side, we got our first female
president.. ...a very subtle electoral at
the centre. ... ..we shone as a sporting
power at the wotld stage this decade
with our best performances at various
international sporting events and
hosting commonwealth games .... .we
showed the world the real moon with
our lunar mission chandrayaan... ..we
brought oscars after a very long
time, thanks to A R Rehman and Rusool
puttukutty. ... Sensex reached the point
never before thought of
reach... ... .Indian women no longer
stacked up in kitchens and went up to
become Indra Nooyi,Pratibha
patil,Sania Mirza ... ... .revolutionary
mandate education act was
paased ... ... The once said ' weakest
prime minister of India ' rose to
become the most intellect and
respected leader in world
community.. .... ..
And the dark side is too like a flip of a
coin.. ..we heard of satyam
scam ... ..then came the telgi stamp
paper fraud which shook the stock
market ... ..the year 2010 in particular
can be called India 's national year of
scams. .... from 2G to CWG ... ..we heard
of city bank fraud too .... .
India landmarked its ' War on Terror'
after many blows terrorism razed on its
breast. ..26/ 11 was unforgettable. ..But
we still stand tough and rock hard. ....
And we still have the strongest talent of
them all and that is to have hope ... ..we
are ranked at top to be the most
hopeful country for the upcoming
decade and we ain 't fluke ... ..we are on
a rise but hurdles are there to
cross ... ... miles to go before i sleep . ...It ' ll
be hard to fight dead with the demons
like corruption ,unemployment and
their relatives but we'll rise above all
and it is this hope that keeps us to
believe that the dream of India 2020
seen by Sir Kalam will come true at the
end of this decade .. .... .
